We join the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR) and stand in solidarity with the National Black Sisters’ Conference and their recent statement demanding justice for Tyre Nichols and all victims of police brutality. As Franciscans called to justice and peace, we commit ourselves to support and listen to the Black community who is disproportionately experiencing this deadly injustice.
