On our 30th day of prayerful reflection, we invite you to join us in prayer for victims of natural disasters, including floods, wildfires, earthquakes, tornadoes, drought, blizzards, landslides, and hurricanes. We also remember those called to be “helpers” in these situations and thank God for their works of love, courage, and mercy.
|40 Days of Prayer and Reflection|
|Lent is a welcome time for many Christians when we open our hearts to Christ and prepare ourselves to go forward in faith through prayer, reflection and living more simply. Prayer is also a vital part of our Sisters’ spiritual lives, ministry, and mission. Franciscan Prayer is contemplative – opening one’s heart and mind to the presence of God directly and in all creation. As part of our Lenten journey, prayer strengthens our faith and moves us to manifest God’s extravagant love in our own lives. This Lenten season, we invite you to join us in 40 Days of Prayer. We pray that your Lenten journey blesses you with spiritual clarity and a deeper understanding of the love of Christ. May you go forward from this prayerful experience as a witness to God’s extravagant love.|
