Kid's Fling
Our Kid's Fling area features children's entertainment and booths from local non-profit organizations, as well as youth and family oriented groups and clubs. Past activities for children ages 3-12 include an inflatable moonbounce, duck pond game with grab bag sponsored by Lauren's Work and face painting and balloons by Girl Scouts troop #`1200 (Baldwin-Whitehall). There have also been performances from the Ballet Academy of Pittsburgh, Dana's Dance Dimensions and Dance Works by Shari, as well as appearances by the Yogi Bear, Smiley - the Eat'n Park Cookie and Scout the Dog from Camp Bow-Wow.
Community Organizations Needed
We are currently seeking organizations and clubs to participate in our Kid's Fling area. Free space is provided to qualifying organizations promote their cause, membership or upcoming events. Fundraising is permitted (with the exception of certain food items and baked good sales). The only requirement is that your organization is a non-profit or serves the needs of children/families. We request that those provided with free space provide an activity, game or craft for children visiting the Kid's Fling, but this is not required for participation.
