Celebrate the Gifts of Creation: Landscapes of the Soul

Wind in the poplars, the onset of an autumn storm or Jesus writing in the dirt…ordinary places shape and form our spiritual consciousness. This evening will provide participants an opportunity to reflect on what these “ordinary places” teach us about their potential as gateways for God’ revelation to us. The video, “Keeping the Earth”, will provide a conversation starter for participants to discuss the scriptural roots of our call to care for creation.

New Year’s Eve Retreat: Hoping Against Hope

Sometimes world events such as war, rising prices, catastrophic weather can drain our hope for the future. However, the Christmas Season and New Years in particular challenges us to hope against hope. What is it about the Incarnation of Jesus Christ that causes us to hope and how can we “be ready to give a cause for our hope” (1 Peter 3:15) as we move into 2009?

Fr. Frank Almade and Dr. Maureen Crossen

$35.00

Overnight accommodations are available at an additional cost of $35.00.
